there seems to be some growing animosity towards employees here. this post asking jonboi to retract something sounds a bit intimidating. maybe i am reading it wrong. thomas g. thinks employees are to blame.
i don't have any clue who jonboi is. i have been knocking myself out trying to figure it out. i do know that he seems to speak the truth and his words have helped me connect some dots. i do know chris flynn. he is one of the most straight up guys i have ever worked with. his compassion for coworkers has been amazing.
if you are looking for where your money went..i can assure you that it is not with employees. if you break down what many were suppose to be paid and the hours they put in, and the charges on their own credit cards for sets etc....you will find most of us at minimum or less.
my thought was that investors and ex employees should help each other fill in the gap. you know about press releases that we only saw after the fact. we were working 12 hour days..seven days a week and didn't have time to keep up with FO. some of you had more contact with him than we did.
if this board has lost jonboi............then i hope someday he will contact me directly.
people who work together for a common cause can achieve their goals quicker.
This thread kind of reminds me of the Salem Witch Trials in the 1600s. They would hold the suspected witch's head under water for an hour. If she drowned, then she wasn't a witch. Dead, yes - but not a witch!!
I gotta take Jonboi's side on this one, Charlie...The fake phone call/email thing on talk shows is VERY common. Kinda like the little cue cards Leno has on his desk when he does interviews to get people to say the right things.
