I argued that it was the general micro-architecture benefits of the Athlon, not the IMC, that made the performance difference.

And you were shown to be WRONG, again. The *vast majority* of the performance difference came from the IMC. Have the ovaries to admit it.

It is as high as 30% in some apps which I can dig out those AMD links for too if you are enjoying the pain ;-). The only person wrong here is you bigtime which I have proven yet again.
