When was the last time a surfer movie hit the big box-office payday? I don't have the numbers but I do not believe that the chick surfer movie from last year did very well.

Mikey/gatekeeper..I know that theater, and it's in a prime spot..also NY is not going to be your biggest market for a surf movie
