Rockawayrich....If Jefferson has ties to GEECE (as it appears he does/did) chances are pretty good he would know Noreen Wilson and Phil Nugent. Both, at one time, were active in that company (Leth/Geece) from my understanding. It is my further understanding from reading ERHC boards, that Phil Nugent removed himself/interest from GEECE some time ago and even had/has a pending lawsuit against same.
I never followed LETH/GEECE closely (or owned shares) as there always seemed to be too many questions in my mind regarding a generator that burns raw rubbish and turns it into energy/electricity and the locals of its sales. It always seemed to me that this would be heavily used in the US if it worked as stated....and I could never see where it was in use in the states.
While I don't know much about Noreen Wilson nor had any contact with her, I have been fortunate enough to converse with Phil Nugent on several occassions. My background is not related to the oil business so there has/is much to learn here to stay active and on top of my investment. Phil Nugent has taken the time to answer some of my gas/oil questions as well as what its like in Nigeria. He has also given me his account on the history of ERHC and this has been verified thru other persons who know the co's history. If there's one word he has reitered to me, its "patience". (Sound familiar NWTF?)
Some like to tie Phil Nugent in with this stockboard. That is BS. Nobody, including Phil Nugent or this boards moderator have EVER ONCE handed me a script to post. No script or even a suggestion to post ANYTHING, be it negative or positive. That is a fact. I'm sure I make several longs cringe in their seats when I blast the co for what I see as their failure to keep investors informed. If I didn't like the product, the estimated quantity of the product, the products quality, the location of the product AND the teams we are dealing with in eventually obtaining the product I'd leave in a heartbeat. I remain invested to make money. I don't trade this stock.....and recently was forced to sell my first chunk to pay college costs.
Investing in a shell company with only oil rights across the ocean...in the ocean...is fearful, to some extent, in itself. That is why I have always felt the need to stay on top of this investment. When doubt arose, such as; Coups, awards, JV's, and finally PSC's.....the stock has come to. This is for real. The big boys are playing a major role and paying plenty to play such role. Now, it "appears" a major discovery of oil has been found. Certainly gives a different light that a rubbish burning generator being sold only to third world countries (bulgaria etc..). For real with the oil.
I don't see how Jefferson could have played a role with ERHC. What possibly could he do to benefit the company? Perhaps he owns shares....or a family member owns shares....or he's tied into ERHC due to his previous STP contact? No rock will go unturned in a political battle between the two major parties. The Republicans had their faces rubbed in the press in CA....now its the democrats turn in LO.
I don't doubt for a second we will see negativity with the media with all this going on in full vision and being reported by DJNS. I strongly doubt China gives a rip about any of it.....they're after the oil in the ground and while heads are turned, they may turn some of the rumors into reality (I'm hoping).
