That is the only reason Wagner pitched -- to assure the no-no. It was probably the first time in the last few years (if ever) he has pitched with the score more than 3-4 runs apart. What a night: six folks now get to claim a no hitter -- something Wagner and Dotel (the most deserving of the six) would probably never have gotten to do.
Last night they were real studs - sucked up the pressure and spit it back at the Yankees. It just doesn't get any better.
