To determine if a post is deleted is very difficult, and the Chairperson will only learn with time and hopefully with some guidance.

Okay, if there is guidance needed...why not have a thread where the Deleted Post is posted.......
Let everyone make their comments on the post for 24hrs.
At the end of the 24 hours, with the input of many minds, brain storming, different opinions and thoughts, a decision can be made and thus they can learn faster with the help of many. It will also free the Admin and Chairperson for 24 hrs and if they are in a mental state that day, tired, they actually leave the hard part up to others to help make a decision.

Would you not want to make the posters part of your family in this way? Wouldn't this cause iHub and chairperson less stress and greef from other posters. Remove all doubt by letting it out in the open plus it just might even be more legal.

Do you think that you could chair a board without bias?

If I started a thread to discuss the merits of XYZ private company, should I only allow the type of input that I support? (you stated that it should only be about public companies)

Policing of Public Threads about Public Companies, is something that should be done properly without bias to one or the other.

Private threads that deal with more general topics should be more at the discretion of the Chairperson, KNOWING that if not patrolled properly, THAT THREAD WILL NOT THRIVE! or will be limited to the few that want to conform!
