A very foolish statement... tying stock purchase (or not) of Sales force (which is cannot be determined anyway) to efficacy of product...is a fallacious thought process.
Also...consider that top execs/management coming over from other top Tech companies are receiving "stock" / "stock options" in lieu of compensation to which they were being paid by a the "seasoned" company... does represent "THE PURCHASE OF STOCK" ... stock/options in lieu of cash = "I believe in the technology enough to take the stock instead of 'cash" "...and also take the risk!
Finally...my reconnaissance (which is which is what hedge funds do all the time/ not "inside info") report "from the field" is that Dell/Glassware servers are hitting the radar in the Healthcare sector...and there are signs of initial orders... (as per tech company servicing large NYC hospital...)...but more work to be done (within 2 weeks) on the particulars of the belief an order was "in fact" placed via Dell ... I have no direct connection to the facility ... so consider it rumor for now.
ps. What I do "in fact" know is that "salesmen" from Overland (deal with re-sellers) are incredibly enthusiastic about Glassware and about selling down the line...selling it with V3 and Overland Servers...how much are they "actually doing"...no idea. And every top management/exec who bolted from Dell or joined via V3 are "salesman"...regardless of title...they are "selling" the efficacy and utility of "Glassware" internationally...by and with their move.
