What is the image this video creates?
With regard to who we are selling to, at the minute the main customers are the public who we need to invest in the Company so we can raise the money to make some demo cards to use to promote the cards to the banks/airlines/governments who will be our customers once we have a contract. Until we do that we don't have Corporate customers.
The Company is viewed as as good as its weakest part, and this is by the banks as well as current and future investors. This video does nothing to promote us to anyone. As a side note on the comment that the Company is as as good as its weakest part I'll offer one more example:
I recently dealt with a small Company that makes a rather boutique piece of cutting edge technology. I placed an order using their website and paid via Paypal, money was deducted straight away and I received the email from Paypal saying the money had been debited but no confirmation email from the Company. That should have been strike 1.
Order not received within two weeks and no communications so I emailed the company via its website. All listed email addresses are dead. Now that's a worry thinks I so I email the CEO. Once again no reply. Thats strike 2.
Email the CEO again a week or so later as well as another contact for the Company. Can you guess the result? Its not hard is it, once again no response. Now at this time they have had my money for almost a month, the email addresses on their website are dead and the CEO and other executives don't return emails from the live email addresses. Strike 3.
Now at this time I would be quite justified in lodging a Paypal dispute or going to Trades Practices. A few days later I get an email from Paypal advising that my money is being refunded as the owner of he account "is not a Verified PayPal member."
Talk about absolutely appalling service. If you look at the way that the Company above dealt with me would you feel confident in buying off them or investing in them or would you simply walk away? If you were a Corporate customer and wanted to get a feel for their product and the way they do business prior to placing a bulk order you would discount ever doing business with them again.
Can you guess who it was? Can you guess what the product was? No.
It was SMME and it was an MKR. And by the way I've still not received any emails back from them.
Once again it goes to professionalism.
