they sure do....how long btwn cleanings?....i have slowed down to 3 weeks in this cold weather...maybe i could wait longer??

HAPPY NEW YEAR DA and to all the board!!...got a tip for you on the chicken poop in the coop thingy.When I built the roost I built also a plywood shelf below it with sides about 2 inches deep along front and ends of shelf...the poop drops on the shelf of course....next go to Tractor Supply and get a couple of bags of stuff called Sweet PDZ which you spread on the shelf..it pulls moisture out of the poop and every so often just take a large kitty litter scoop and sift out the easy to manage chicken poop.This works great and you wont have to redo the straw on the floor as often plus you can scoop the poop into easily handled buckets for spreading on garden....Simple ..no?(LOL)
