All I know is (after being the poor schmuck that had to give twice-daily infusions of Vacomycin to a family member for 2 weeks) if Brilacidin can compete as non-inferior, then it should become a drug of choice for many indications.
By the way, Medicare won't cover those Vancomycin treatments at the patient's home, forcing often elderly patients to drive to an outpatient facility twice a day for their infusions. Luckily we had secondary insurance that covered the home infusions and visiting nurses, but it was expensive and time consuming and a royal pain the neck.
