Both major political parties are CFR dominated and controlled. There is no loyalty to America at the CFR. The loyalty of this "old boys club" lies in an international socialist agenda that benefits only the wealthy bankers and their cronies who control the American economy as well as foreign governments through massive debt. The goal of the CFR is to create a one-world government that will have ultimate dictatorial power over the entire planet.

"In the next century, nations as we know it will be obsolete; all states will recognize a single, global authority. National sovereignty wasn't such a great idea after all." Strobe Talbot, Bill Clinton's Deputy Secretary of State - quoted in Time Magazine, July 20, 1992
By his own admission, Vice-President Dick Cheney likes to hide his internationalist CFR connection. If you're diligent, you can find a televised C-Span clip of Cheney speaking before the CFR where he stated, " It's good to be back at the Council on Foreign Relations…I've been a member for a long time and was actually a director for some period of time. I never mentioned that when I was campaigning for re-election back home in Wyoming". That final statement brought quite a laugh from the CFR audience. Maybe we should ask Cheney why he wanted to keep his CFR membership a secret from the American people?
