A few more notes about Orbactiv:

(1) *Higher rate of osteomyelitis with Orbactiv as compared to Vancomycin
(2) Side effect profile comparable to Vancomycin (not very good)
(3) Significant drug interactions (esp. warfarin)
(4) 3 hour infusion time vs. 1 hour for Brilacidin

Orbactiv adverse effects

FWIW, I expect both a higher clinical response rate and clinical success rate for Brilacidin.
