that's my major point (aside from the simple math)....if folks had given this network a chance to develop by subscribing to it we may be in a different place right now...but keep in mind. Frank was in the 8+ years. He accumulated numerous expenses over the years trying to get this accomplished. We who were in this network several years ago remember the TWC hunting contract. Look how long that took to materialize? I personally think he had to get the program to TWC standard and that caused the delay but that was just my thinking)....for me this is a no brainer. The costs of 8 years plowing through a group of folks (media industry) who had no desire and a society filled with 'anti' gay sentiment and then the TV Guide article which propelled all 3 networks to the race....money after money after money being spent on getting this going, he gets it going and the subscribers don't come on board to support it....and let it grow. It's a no brainer.

Zeus gays support businesses all the time..Look at all the resorts, bars, nightclubs, cruise lines, etc, etc...
I think money was wasted on the wrong things and an all out effort should have been made to get coverage in WEST HOLLYWOOD.... That is the place where trends begin for most gay folks and the buzz would have had REAL impact! I compare it to a movie premiere, the studios always try to open in large cites to built momentum.
If Q had sent tapes to all the gay bars & resorts of their top shows it would have given our community a chance to see the product for themselves, maybe then we would have seen a stronger level of support..
That advertising method at dance clubs has been a sure way for recording artists that want exposure to their music..
Also Hollywood has a much stronger political base and would have seen the value of the shows.
As an activist you know you have to play to the right audience to gather support, but some of the Q events were nothing more than parties.
I believe that Hansen said that Q didn't follow thru and take full advantage of key events like the ABBY...
Zeus, even if the subs were larger and the money flowed in, do you really think with all the lies that have come from our last ceo that we could have trusted him to reinvest into Q to expand the Network or would it have been more money for HIM? There is too many things Zeus that don't add up and frankly I think Gays, Investors, Employees, Vendors, were used...
Whether we agree or disagree about this Zeus, none of this is funny and if Jack E. Jett has moved on it will be a major loss for the Network and that has nothing to do with gays not supporting a gay network it has to do with broken promises.....Just take a look at all the PR's ......
