I think some key Democratic folks believe in that as well. The problem is convincing her of that. My understanding is that she doesn't want to run on the ticket as VP.
Depending on how people perceive the book and what happens to her approval ratings and just how desperate the Democrats are come convention time - look for her to be on the ticket as VP in 2004. They'll tell her if they lose, it will set her up for 2008 because valuable contacts and connections will have been made. In other words a network will have been established. If the Dems win with her as VP you'll have your potential scenario.
