HB's humility notwithstanding, the requirements for cash control HB's decisions now. As you say, its 'not his sandbox anymore'. HB has lost control of the ability of the company to determine it's own destiny on its own terms.
Pona is a commercial disaster, and that is not changing for years. Halted sales, wasted build out, severely limited label, tepid recovery. As it is, Ariad literally can't afford to sell it (Pona). Or further develop it. Or develop anything. There are no more molecules in development behind mN (HB wrote this to me, and TC told me to my face at the AGM.) Just cash for lights, salaries and a few trials, but no new Pona INDs. Maybe another '113 trial, 1st line. But sadly, the '113 delays will prevent '113 revs from ramping in time to change Ariad's course.
Not sure why Camidge didn't mention Pona as a FGFR lung cancer rising star, especially after the crowd source video. One more tell on the severity of AE's or perhaps efficacy, no matter, no rhythm there.
Time to sell the company, or we get diluted via partnership or another horrendous Fitz dilution.
