So, I asked dad for mom’s.........

recipe’ box for my 50th b-day gift, last march.

I finally had the nerve to open it up. cried some, as I figured I may, at some of those meals that I loved and recognized as a kid, but most were in her handwriting. Some handed over from others or from magazines.

Then, I found one that she simply cut out of a magazine. The instructions were horrible so I went off just the picture and tweaked the vegies, to what bryan would eat.

We LOVED it!!

Made it with fresh vegies and chicken tenders, beaten thin and cut up. low sodium soy sauce, and my usual light but yummy seasonings. Yummo!

He loved it so much (and he is brutally honest, trust me) that he asked me to make it again. he knows we can try it with tenderloin beef or shrimp next time.
