Niles, you have questions, I have answers. I put the stocks into 5 groups.

$.25-.99 Purchase Price
$1.00-2.99 Purchase Price
$3.00-4.99 Purchase Price
$5.00-9.99 Purchase Price
$10+ Puchase Price

Number Of Stocks in each group
$.25-.99 Purchase Price:35
$1.00-2.99 Purchase Price:64
$3.00-4.99 Purchase Price:26
$5.00-9.99 Purchase Price:39
$10+ Puchase Price: 30

% Gain For Each Group
$.25-.99 Purchase Price: 14.43%
$1.00-2.99 Purchase Price:26.29%
$3.00-4.99 Purchase Price:12.91%
$5.00-9.99 Purchase Price:34.10%
$10+ Puchase Price: 16.42%

So as we can see the best perfroming stocks were stocks brought in the beginning of the contest at $5.00-9.99, and the worst performance of group of stocks was $3.00-4.99. I really can't tell you if there is any significance to these statistics, but this is the info. you were curious to take a look at. Hope this helps. Later.
