Hi warp: I don't often agree with Bearmove, but what he outlined, what he described, was simply his trading "style." If it works for him, so be it. My style is different [you don't wanna know my style, it'd give you instant tsouris and cause your heart to ploppitate.]

Everyone is different, but I'm not one to go to Yahoo! every morning and look at the upgrades section to see what they're telling me to buy that morning and buy it. But that's just me.

Nice post..

Someday I hope to get more serious and disciplined about trading

both of you guys actually have given me some food for thought.

I use a sort of half-assed fundamental intuitive momentum IT type trading mixed in with some contrarian type moves every once in a while.

Sometimes I get lucky

Not the usual stock you guys follow here but I had noticed a little guy SRM.V (Canadian Diamond explorer)) was getting some huge amount of interest

http://table.finance.yahoo.com/k?s=srm.v&g=d

I piled in

http://www.siliconinvestor.com/stocktalk/msg.gsp?msgid=19011262

and a few hours after I wrote the above

this came out

http://biz.yahoo.com/bw/030607/75019_1.html

Hopefully it should do quite well ST IT and even LT

Still very risky but the hope is that it could become another ABER* now the number four holding of Fidelity Select Gold

For those of you who like Las Vegas, there is a lot of money to made (and lost) in Canadian Diamonds

*Another good one I personally love is NEM.V

Anyway someday I need to get a little more scientific and you guys have given me some good ideas.
