Bob,

If you guys really want to cement your customer relationships, you will offer a subscriber membership to both SI and IHub if they currently subscribe to either.

Thanks for clearing the air. IMHO, the only way to make SI purchase successful is to have the GM business plan. One site could be the Chevy and the other a Saturn or GMC. For example, one could have access to traditional features and the other premium features. Every poster has different styles and preferences and this will cater to both. Try not to be redundant with the sites since many are here for various reasons.

When you present to advertisers you can offer packaged deals since posters don't mind seeing the same advertisers. I hope everything works out for you and I wish you good luck with your new purchase.

Bob,

FWIW...If subscriptions are truly the main source of revenue for iHub, it might behoove management to actually operate like a business, rather than a club, and give people a reason to open their wallets. :-)

That would mean NURTURING new "freebee" posters (potential new sources of revenue), rather than judging them, and giving them benefit of the doubt, rather than allowing them to be harassed and kept from posting on certain boards run by Machivellian "moderators." :-)

But for this, I would have become a subscriber right away when the RB exodus began...and you would be nearly $100 bucks richer and closer to your goals! I'm sure a lot of others feel this way, too. It's not a very good deal to have to pay for abuse and then, adding insult to injury, taken to the woodshed (for trying to report that abuse) by an administrator who you thought was there to protect you ...and keep the playing field level. :-)
