That is something so far down the road, it's hard to tell. We're not even remotely sure we are going to merge the sites into one, once we actually do get SI working the way it shoud. They might always be separate.

FWIW, I don't see memberships getting transferred back and forth in any scenario. Especially not with all the features IH offers over SI.

In other words, feel free to subscribe. :)

IF the sites do become one (that's still a big IF), there still won't be cross-subscribing made avaialble. That is, a previous subscription to one won't apply to the other.

For the foreseaable future, they're going to run as two separate sites with ownership and features being the only similarities. Both will remain subscription sites and if someone wants to subscribe to both sites, they'll have to subscribe to them separately. I don't even anticipate a discounted "both sites" subscription option being made available.

Currently, it's not even possible to subscribe on SI. We have to establish a new internet merchant account for it and implement a gateway. Not a speedy process, by a long shot.

Once that's available, we'll offer lifetime subscriptions to it for a limited time, then quit offering lifetime subscriptions and use only recurring subscriptions as are used here.
