The 2nd term, the american JQP will get "bushwhacked" if this going into election year shorterm "do anything to get us re-elected" standard procedure of a "quick fix prop and to hell with the future" in american politics, democrat or republican, succeeds.

Sooner or later the constant quick fix sandbagging will run out of sandbags, they are battling rising water --the longer they sandbag the higher the water builds up, they should just let the flood come and then go, and we would have started anew, regrowth from the flood's aftermath.
