Not sure if you misread my post. I have never shorted a stock in my life. Frankly, I'd be scared shitless to. No bottom to your losses they say. And I prefer to bet on companies and people succeeding, not failing. Yep, you borrow shares. And your logic makes sense to me.
I was corroborating your sentiments. The last sentence of my post was not a confession but an attempt (albeit worded in a dubious fashion) to shed light on so much chest beating on this board lately regarding day trading of SLTD...which, to my mind, should carry shame and not pride. At the very least, it's a private matter.
I have a substantial investment here for good reason. I believe in this company more than I have ever believed in any business in my entire life. Why would I literally sell this stock or what it stands for short? Only a madman, someone with 'narcissist personality disorder' or a person with no regard for how they make their money would do so.
