Your right about the interferon. I did both. That was 2002. That's all they had back then. The paperwork I got with the drugs listed heart attack and thyroid and a bunch of other ones. I had to give myself shots in the stomach 3 times a day and 5 Ribavirin. I believe the Ribavirin got my blood cells real low until I needed a blood transfusion. Then the heart attack came later. I will never take those drugs again. After 12 years and still with Hep C I am only stage 1. Doctors are surprised after 2 liver biopsies appears normal?
