I could not agree more as I certainly include myself. Little guy usually last to know and usually too late to properly react. Thus the thirst for company knowledge and especially unknown information. Inside trading is where some of the biggest stock gains are realized. Happens everyday and most get away with it. Many rationalize that is okay as Congress can do it lawfully and they are no better than the rest of us.
A noteworthy statement. "One must be smart both in buying and selling and the large majority of people have proven very to be bad at both. " This applies IMO to trader/investors unilaterally regardless of method.
In respect to this statement, "Perhaps there are a handful of the elite (active) investors on this board but from all the bitching and moaning heard when CTIX goes down, I'm lead to believe they are far and few between". It may be that the successful rarely engage in moaning or crowing and just go about their business.
