How B is doing is well explained in TOB's yellow stickie at the top of the boards. I do not think there is a competitive drug but maybe someone else can answer that.

Defensin Mimetics - Seems it is a known subject to scientist - However as you can see from the link below - searching for chemical compounds that meet these attributes is not easy.

The study below shows that the group identified 2 compounds (BAS00127538 & 1499-1221 ) that showed promise as defensing memetics action.

Looking at this - it seems Polymedix OR Uuniv of Pennsylvania was way ahead of others in this study.

Again - it seems people just do not know about B and stage of testing. Hope B gets proper visibility
