Bob, SPEC is a "professional" benchmark, so it comes with a price tag ($125 for non-profit use). You can order it here.

The one you want is CPU2000.

Also, you'll need a little technical knowledge to use it, and your own compiler. SPEC works by allowing the test runner to compile it using their latest compiler optimizations.

If this is already sounding like too much work, you'll probably want to find another way to benchmark your machine. By the way, is this "4600" machine the same Sun system you were asking about earlier, or is it some kind of x86 Xeon based system (sounds almost like something from Dell)? If it's the latter, then there are plenty of freeware benchmarks out there that can give you reasonable performance estimates.
