Lousy Engineer, the 75 million is just a number they are not going to dump all those shares on to the market at one time and I doubt they will have to dilute that far. Its just gives them room. They don't have anything budgeted out for that amount.
I think BioHedge's post (#76191) answers your question. Just because Leo filed a S-3 today does not mean he will do a shelf offering of all $75M tomorrow. All pre-revenue biotechs need to raise money one way or another. Dilutions are part of the game and CTIX is no exception.
I am not worry about how to market will react tomorrow. Any selloff will be short-lived IMO. Science is what matters the most. The biostatistics of the B-ABSSSI trial are being reviewed as we speak and will be released shortly.
$75 millions is a huge amount of money. Why Leo wants to raise so much money since they can still draw money from Aspire?
