Always nice to have leverage when negotiating, and this will certainly help. Leo has shown the ability to use funds very diligently, and if we aren't getting the right offers, this will sustain us until we do.

Thanks Karin, and realistically when folks predict future share prices for buyouts and such they usually factor in the whole AS any how, right?

This was my first thought... This is the big league. Big Pharma will be looking for any weakness that can be leveraged in negotiations. Leo decided to remove any misconception that we might be hurting for cash. I do think Leo will try to wait until our share price is somewhat higher. JMHO

Or, Leo, may simply be playing hardball by showing he doesn't have to take a lowball offer. Time will tell. - KarinCA
