That's always been the catch Law, knowing when to sell. GB55 is the gentleman that turned me on to the NYA50R as a buy signal. We have both been looking for the "perfect" sell signal. The NYA50R itself, doesn't make for a great sell tool. In my situation, I started scaling out already. It's an end of day indicator, so when it got close, I started buying, the lower it went, the more I bought. Now I'm taking profits on the way up. I've still got a lot of exposure, I just felt like holding during the end of QE could get ugly and the market was overbought.
I've added the slope and NASI indicators to the bottom of this chart. So far, I like the signals it gives for selling. If you come up with something better, I'm willing to give it a shot.
