The question we all have is when will Judge Sullivan get around to answering the question.

Your letter citing the law with cases can't be ignored. The issues brought by you "MUST" be responded to in order to make an argument (for/against). Citing case law/decisions is very powerful. If it's on the docket, then it must be addressed.
