ONEBGG, since I can see you don't like to see that others may happen to share an opinion or view inconsistent with yours, I would like to clarify something in your post, the part about "you guys [are] a gang". I realize that this may be your perception, but I don't post about politics per se, although I may comment on a particular issue or post a political satire piece. In so doing, I've always tried to skewer both parties equally.
If you want to place me in a group, you are entitled to do that in your own mind, but factually you are wrong. Interesting that you do go out of your way to let everyone know you have your own group, or should I say, gang, to use your words and for sure, I am not part of that group either. I don't really care to have a flame war with you, and certainly not on the Rants thread, but at some point you need to back up and see who is calling the kettle black. There is hardly anything you post about "them" that somebody else could not equally say about you. IMO that is your blind spot.
It would be my way to communicate this message in PM, given it is of more of a personal message than I normally post publicly, but it should be known that you do not want me to use PM to resolve differences.
I do hope that you won't continue to personalize your posts to me, nor criticize me for giving good-faith answers to your questions. Obviously if you continue to do this you will not bring about the reconciliation with others you profess to want.
As I posted to you earlier today, I will attempt to abide by the iBox rules to the extent that common sense does not go out the window. I trust you will modify and clarify rules should they be too subjective, or simply eliminate them and let the User Agreement prevail, but that is clearly your choice and I'm sure you will do what is expedient.
I also hope that you can find a way to bridge the apparent communications gap between us in a way that you will not be continually invoking Matt's name. Honestly, I'm as tired of you whining and running to Matt as you profess that the "them" do, and getting the word "juvenile" out of your posts might be less embarassing for those who see some of what you say in just that manner.
Please keep in mind that I was not involved in your battle with the "them" and my apolitical posting should be proof of that.
I look forward to the Rants board losing some of the dissension and devisiveness it has taken on, and with a little give and take from everyone, and less personalization, I would hope the Rants thread could return to what you remember it to be. Clearly whatever you have been doing is not bringing reconciliation, and some other methods should be explored. I wish I had the answer, but I am sure that in time you will find it.
