Derf...Come on man, we all know the truth. I would just give the trouble maskers the board and leave, but I am not the one being harassed, I will not be told by a few how to conduct myself.
I can't help but wonder, why have these few come to ruin what was a thriving & fun board. It is a small handful that has done this. There are some very bright and well-written posters who have PM'd me with their disgust and will not post here because of it, and it is neither my assistants nor I they were referring to.
Remember this, you folks only see what they present publicly, let tell you, the ones that present themselves as the thinkers and rationale ones, are sometimes the worst of the bunch, I can't & won't tell you of the things said to me and other moderators here, however, I assure you, they are mean, ugly and quite hateful.
We here got into trouble with one, then an assault by many immediately followed, you would have thought they were recruited, but hey, that's JMHO!
Derf, I know you mean well, but let me ask you this, what's changed here? When did it change?
BTW, I moderate a few board as well, I usually don't have problems, it all started with one who could not stand being bested and reacted is a most juvenile way, now we have many childish things being done & said here, I Would Love For It To End, BUT THEY WILL NOT LET THAT HAPPEN!!!
I tire of it as much as you, and I suffer it more then you. I find it rather amusing that before this most of these same posters liked the way I did things.
I can’t even express myself in the same manner as before, my every word is weighed and now I have to ‘watch my mouth, I feel like I’m back in grade school and living under my Mom’s roof again.
