I agree with your several points-- good post, Rule62.
But it's likely the PERCEPTION of the ethanol sector based on such charts and the tallies for the other "model plants" (Platts and Neeley) that has led to more and more selling pressure.

As with so much market action, a herd mentality dictates, counter to what actual facts are often indicating.

This is true in other areas of life. Fighting "groupthink" perception with actual facts can be very difficult.
