Derx, Thanks for the Update

The Industry Drivers for ACCC/EU Wind Continue to Accelerate.
If sales and delivery execution by CTC get the job done domestically, CPTC PPS will accelerate. As has been discussed for ACCC, 2006 domestic sales will likely close on projects where ACCC is driving reengineering to replace ACSR. 2007-2008 will see sales for projects originally engineered this year for ACCC. The timeframes are tough on shareholders but the 2-3 year value proposition for ACCC continues to look better and better.

craps--IMO, AEP is immensely important due to the size of the
utility, the size of the REPEAT order, the band-aid on the
burn rate and another sign that the co, has not been just
blowing smoke. To me, it is the most awaited PR since the
on about China that we hoped for about a year ago. I suspect
a good jump in SP and not just a "pop" with the PR and a big
drop without it.

My Opinion on the AEP Focus and the Eventual Second Order:

The good. AEP's second order verifies ACCC benefits for the largest manager of grid in North America. For other utilities it may satisfy the need to feel secure in making a decision to buy ACCC if a significant customer orders a second time. Also gives potential and current CTC investors a confidence boost. I am told other utilities are waiting for this order to be placed before they buy for the first time.

The not so good. This industry has a hard time changing. The utilities that say they are waiting for AEP to buy again will find another reason not to buy as the change to something new is difficult for them. The sales guys that are using the "waiting for a big customer to place a second order excuse before my customers will commit" will find another reason not to sell.

I agree with what you are thinking but not saying. "Get off your ass and get some orders - 99% of the rest of the transmission world isn't affected by AEP."

craps--sorry. When you said "everyone", I assumed you were
referring to investors, but I see you meant the customers.
Guess it is the ol' "first to be second" mentality.
