Re: Well, actually mas does have a point here. One of the few things the analysts actually do, other than completely mis-interpret data, is call around and survey what companies are using and building. So they often have a good handle on priduct mixes and such.
Hey, I'm all for hearing the analyst's perspective, but I don't think it should supersede doing your own due diligence. I think even you have churned over the numbers and concluded that AMD discounting chips for their OEM customers is pretty obvious.
