Why fight terrorism when you can start another war against another country that does not have the weapons that might fall into the hands of the terrorists you are trying to defeat?
Destroying the Iranian military and nuclear infrastructure is not going to stop terrorism it is going to encourage it. It is like the corollary to the argument that guns don't kill people, people do. As the NRA fanatics like to argue if people don't have guns they will kill you with knives.
