I am guessing you mean "prices" at the end of the sentence. And sure, there are some who hold great stock in the Intel name. But there are more buyers who swear by an OEM and then look at features for the price. Intel or AMD only rarely come into the picture at all. And those who aren't even swayed by a particular OEM take the processor manufacturer into account even less.
