The word waves infers discernibly cyclical behavior.

It doesn't have to be that way, and most often is not. The motion can be random, and mostly is.

This means nothing coming from someone that is not adept at wave patterns. The fact that you need to ridicule anything you don't understand or agree with defines narcissism.
