#19022 RE: sarai #19018

To a series of lean-over-backward conciliatory posts, especially that one, you reply with an attack like this? .... perhaps you mean it as a friendly taunt, well if so let me respond with another - screw you

All i ever addressed here was some demented proposal to spit in the face of the hispano with this 'official' language business, it is my considered opinion that to do such a thing would be a mistake, counter-productive to all reasonable aspirations of human beings building a society ..... if you choose to put that down as 'complaint', well that says a great deal about you, and i simply shrug

What you say of mexicana law in re property is not true .... there is the equivalent of fee simple land in Canada, more or less, i am less familiar with US structure so can make no comparison there ..... in no country anywhere does anyone 'own' land, by the way, just try not paying your land taxes and you'll find that out ... if the government anywhere wants to expropriate, they do so, and you have little say in the matter .... although a group of farmers just stopped construction of a new airport for el DF, by organising political and legal power, now the old terminal will need a new level on top apparently

Here is all law of México, past and present - http://www.cddhcu.gob.mx/leyinfo/ .... references to land tenure will be found in the constitución and in the ley agraria .... the latter deals with structure of the ejidal system .... land we have in the southeast is in an ejido, our village is that of an ejido, we don't have much money but we're happy and we get along fine .... i've seen US cities, you've got nothing to preach to nobody
