In his recent letter to investors, Bill Ackman explained that there is no need to pay him fees. He admits that following his portfolio is easy. He says “free riders” can follow him “with none of the costs or the illiquidity, and with all of the upside.” In plain English, this means you can piggy-back his investments without paying him fees, without putting up a muli-million dollar minimum investment in his fund and without having your money locked up for three years.

Jack: When was the last time we saw some paid shill come out making statements about FNMA that have a negative skew to them that don't have an ounce of truth to them? You can't count them all on both hands can you. Just because you read it on the internet doesn't mean it s true.

Lets see, the author Bryan Rich's portfolio says:
Bryan began his career as a trader for a $600 million family office hedge fund in London. The macro-oriented fund managed assets for a prominent European family. Later, he was a senior trader for a $750 million leading global macro hedge fund located in South Florida. There, he helped manage and trade a multi-billion dollar foreign exchange options portfolio.

Why doesn't he do that any more? Because he's not any good at it!!
