I assume the ramp from a few hundred to 20K by EOY is roughly linear as long as there are no unexpected problems.
I can't believe the beating AMD is taking in the 1st hour of trading. Down $3? The earnings and guidance summary looked pretty good to me. What the heck was the street looking for to meet their expectations?
That's the way it is with AMD. No good earnings report ever goes unpunished. No bad earning report ever goes unpunished. Wall Street just likes punishing AMD.

This is incorrect. They said full production (20k WSPM) as of *next* year, and that the ramp would be mostly linear. That means if we assume 7 quarters between now and then, they should ramp about ~14% (2800 WSPM) per quarter.
