It was over $1.00 pps in 97 or 98 and bottomed at about 07. in Jan. 99. I was watching things very closely at that time when they 1st started collecting royalty fees from a contract with SONY to develop the flash into their products. That was going to pay all their present debt at that time of a couple million off in a few years. I believe that was some of the catalyst to shoot EDIG to $26.50 pps in 12 mo to the day in the midst of the internet bubble. After that when the suits came along I looked back and surmised that Sony spread the intellectual property to all their subcontractors and friends and from there the whole world started using it without paying any royalties. Sony's contract was not exclusive and was just to be for their own products. I felt like EDIG should have had better legal advisers at the time but the world was a bit younger back then. Sony is the one who should have been sued for breach of contract for a billion or 2 for sharing intellectual property without permission. That's my take on it after 16 years of watching EDIG. As far other problems they may have had I didn't follow the details much as I was raising a family and working my day job. I didn't follow very closely after the run was over till the suits came along which I thought were quite justifiable. I felt along time ago that they didn't see the potential of their own flash as well as the rest of the world did, and they paid for it. End of story.
