There's a significant short sentence in this IBD report today on Brazilian ethanol, a sentence that is missing from the few other stories on this that I've seen today. "...America's ethanol is cheaper than Brazil's."
I would add that with corn prices down in lower $3s/bushel, USA-produced ethanol will continue to be much cheaper than Brazilian sugarcane-based ethanol, which is why I consider today's story a "non-event."
