"Wiggle room" is intended, I am sure. They do not make buy, sell or hold recommendations. They lay out the macros, and the readers weight them as they will.

I subscribe for the content and thinking, which helps me make my own decisions.

My assessment is that they (ContraryInvestor.com) are saying that if equities move more than a little bit higher from here, then there might well be an immediate and strong upside push before a major and inevitable retrenchment. Possibly load up on high-beta stocks for that possibility, but use tight stops.

That is what I understand them to be saying.
