never hear is incorrect, I think you know the latin words for that kind of rhetorical logic. Not use as a separate state and business language or be forced to have schools use it as teaching language is correct. Or to have signs in hospitals signs in spanish.

It simply costs too much. I would prefer the money to go to healthcare.

To me it is a general expression of multiculturalism becoming multisepartism. And if suddenly a law said all signs must now be in Khalkan Mongolian I would object too.

edit: Marcos,

"Therefore, US nationals should never hear spanish.

The overwhelming majority welcome Spanish instruction as core curriculum content
in our elementary schools?... My 6 yr old has an impressive Spanish vocab!..

Please explain - what are you talking about??... Do YOU even know??...

The "visceral response" might be a reaction to YOUR suggestions, points, and opinions.
Often we need to look within ourselves....

Marcos, Your logic is faulty, not mine. I did not say that Spanish should not be heard. The logic of teaching English in Sweden is theirs, not mine. My point is that we should teach school in English and everyone should learn it, not some multicultural discipline.
