I don't think all that much of lawyer's (although a few have some value) so I'll just go with common sense.
By your logic once someone has possession of a non disclosure agreement all actions by the investor are prohibited.
A non owner may not buy. An investor in the stock may not buy or sell and I suppose if someone was so inclined, shorting the stock would be prohibited as well. Makes no sense.
