Hi deuce: I've come to the conclusion that a bull is someone who's bought a stock and wants it to rise in price. A bear is (1) someone who's short and wants to see it decline or...was a bull, sold it, and wants to see it drop to validate his sale. All the "reasons" seem to me to be a lot of gobbledygook. My second conclusion: "neither a bull nor bear be...just trade in the direction that seems best.
