I don't know where 'Red Bank' is, is it in Occupied México or in territories taken from other indigenous? ... but on first impression - sounds great to have two languages in one town, at the same time to have schools designated by unique languages sounds ominous, this is not bilingualism, it is selective unilingualism ..... kindergarten is spelled with a T not two Ds, and it is from that age minimum that children should have doors to other tongues opened to them ... imho
We have here a thing called 'french immersion', and parents fight to get their kids into it, people have been known to move from places to which they were attached to get kids enrolled ..... and this is in BC where there is no significant population of french speakers, little practical benefit locally to speaking the language .... but letting your kid widen his mind, ah in that there is great benefit for him
