Good point. But this is different. Demand oustrips supply for AMD, so the OEMs and dealers are able to maximize their profit by restricting certain models. In the days when Intel was essentially the only game in town, they would build it and they would come. But that isn't true any more. The days of forcing the market to do their bidding has passed, at least for now.
