The Company’s management has discussed this conclusion with Brown & Brown, LLP, the Company’s independent registered public accounting firm. Currently, the Company plans to correct these clerical errors in Note 6 by filing an amendment to its Annual Report on Form 10-K for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2005.
Jerry, I thought EZEN probably should have realized a larger income tax benefit when I saw the PR. I asked about it here the day ofthe PR and abh3vt gave a bit of an explanation about the treatment of "valuation allowances" and NOLs in post #39261.
I'm not an accountant....so understand this only the opinion of someone who can barely handle their own personal income taxes....but I think EZEN may need to remove some of the "valuation allowance" and realize some more of that as "income tax benefit".
With any luck, they'll file their ammended 10k to clear-up this issue soon.
